2. Information We Process

2.1 Local Device Data (Game State)

ZenTension operates predominantly offline. The following information is generated and stored locally on your device storage:

• Progress & Scores: Completed levels, par records, unlocked puzzle badges, and player avatars.
• User Settings: Audio toggle states (sound effects, haptic vibrations), and visual theme preferences (Dark Slate vs. Warm Paper).

This data remains directly on your hardware and can be reset at any time through the in-game Settings menu.

2.2 Optional Leaderboards & Achievements

If you choose to connect your device to Apple Game Center (on iOS) or Google Play Games Services (on Android), your game accomplishments and anonymous player handle are processed directly by Apple Inc. or Google LLC in accordance with their respective privacy policies. We do not receive or store your external login passwords.

2.3 Advertising & Diagnostics

To maintain free access to our levels and continue game development, ZenTension may display non-intrusive advertisements provided by verified advertising partners (such as Google AdMob).

• Advertising Identifiers: In accordance with platform permissions (such as Apple's App Tracking Transparency on iOS or Google Advertising ID on Android), standard advertising identifiers may be used to serve advertisements or measure ad delivery.
• Consent Management: For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland, we utilize Google's certified User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present GDPR-compliant consent choices. You may modify or revoke your consent preferences at any time directly in the in-game Settings.
• Anonymized Crash Reports: Anonymous technical telemetry (such as device model, OS version, and crash stack traces) may be processed to identify and resolve bugs.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

ZenTension is a general audience family-friendly logic puzzle. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can promptly delete it.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion

Because game progress is stored locally on your device, deleting the ZenTension application will permanently remove all local progress, settings, and cached data from your phone or tablet.

If you have utilized Game Center or Google Play Games, you may manage and unlink your game data directly within your system account settings.
